Help with this boy ?

So I have like this boy for a year now and I think I love him and within the past 1/2 months I’ve looked at him and he’s already looking what does this mean and I really wanna talk to him about everything I’m feeling but he’s quite shy in this kinda thing so I don’t know what to do I can’t just leave it it’s killing me everyday

Maybe start with some compliments and see how well received they are? I'm the shy type too, so I think it would be nice to ease into it by every so often saying "you're so handsome/sweet" "I love when you ___" and see how you can carry the conversation.
Also I've had guys stare at me across the room & it kinda creeped me out but when I asked the answer was that they just like looking at me 😊 Hope this helps
