When to start packing

I just hit my 3rd trimester today!! I'm starting to think about mine, baby and husband's hosptial bags and looking at lists of what's needed, I know I still have a little time (I'm a planner). But idk when I should start packing and have it ready. When did you start?

I'm getting induced in 12 hrs and I've only started packing 39+3 weeks

I packed mine at 30 weeks!! I wanted to be organized instead of running around... I’ve all mine and baby’s things together

I packed at 32 weeks and slowly added WAY too much stuff. This time, I'm only taking one bag for the 3 of us.

I started doing mine at 32 weeks (after my shower) I have the baby’s bag pretty much packed and done. For mine and hubby I’ve put pajamas and my robe and stuff but for clothes and stuff I use daily ima pack at 37 weeks (my husband only has a few pair of shorts so I dont wanna pack it and leave him with no shorts to wear now lol)

I'll be 38 weeks Saturday. I have babies bag ready just because I was packing it when I was washing everything. but in mine, I only have my travel items (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, stuff like that.) waiting til last minute for my clothes because I don't have a lot of clothes to begin with. the way I see it is if my water breaks, I have a little bit before contractions start picking up or if I get induced, I'll know the day. either way, my husband can wash them and bring them to me if need be. he will be home every night with the kids then back up in the morning to the hospital with me.
