Should I wait for my period before TTC?

We had a miscarriage 5th April with our first and it was the most difficult and emotional trauma we have ever been through. I was so scared of the thought of trying again because I didn’t want to go through it all again😔 
I now feel ready to start trying again without putting pressure on it and just having fun and letting it happen when it happens. Just want to know, should I wait to start trying after my period or can I start right away?

I’m sorry girl. I’m in the same boat, my miscarriage started the 2nd of April and it was our first. My hubby and I bought condoms with the intention of waiting at least one cycle,,,, but 🤷🏼‍♀️ well we are married so stopping in the moment for slimy rubber didn’t happen

So I guess we started “trying not trying” right away 😆.

I miscarried on the 12th and started ttc on the 19th...My doctor gave me the green light immediately. but also I think anyone who miscarriages should try again when they are mentally and physically ready. Having a miscarriage is a hard situation to get through.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss, currently going through the same thing, but I found out on April 17th. My OB said to wait until your first menstrual cycle so they are able to tell when you conceived if you were to get pregnant. Baby dust to you! 💕

I miscarried 11days ago.it was only 2-3weeks into my pregnancy. My doc told me to be in pelvic rest for 2wks....but I kinda accidentally had sex today.and my CM definitely looked like I was ovulating.im not sure if I could even get pregnant again since I still haven’t gotten my period since the miscarriage. My question is could I get pregnant and should I be honest with my doc & tell him that I didn’t obey his orders of the pelvic rest? I’m a lil worried what he might say lol... but I stopped bleeding like 3 days after my miscarriage, so I was assuming that everything was healed and I thought I read that if u weren’t bleeding your uterus was healed? A lil help here would b great ladies!

What did your doctor recommend? Mine said to wait for one period for dating purposes and to ensue a good lining is there for a baby.
