Oh my goodness

I honestly don't know how to feel right now. 4 to 5 days into what's suppose to be my period I start spotting. A couple of my co-workers say to take a test, but I'm nervous to find out for sure. My husband and I really want a baby. I guess I worry about how my mother-in-law will react. We live with her and my brother-in-law, and I know they both want a little one to spoil one day. Just still nervous, was anyone else that way when you thought you might be pregnant?
