just want reassurance

so in March 2016 I had an ectopic then in January 2017 I had a misscarige and now pregnant again. Well today was my first in appt and from my last af I'm 5w 3d. Dr felt my uterus n said in still very early . also he did not do a ultrasound??????? I know it's early but last time he did one right away to check... this time he sent me for blood work but only 1 blood draw and then my next apt is in 3 weeks by then il be 8w and some change. Do u think he thinks ervything is fine due to feeling my uterus or what. idk just thought it was weird....
