Which one would be better to get? Nexplanon or IUD?

I'm planning on getting birth control as a precaution, and I've narrowed my choices down to the implant and IUD. Only problem is I can't chose between the two. I've tried researching the different effects (both physically and I've heard of some emotional effects too), but I haven't seemed to find much. Any weight gain, acne, cramping, etc with any of them, and if so, how much or how bad? Also, any pain after getting them inserted and how long does each process usually take? Any tips/advice, info, and stories to help make the choice a bit easier? Sorry for all the questions, thank you so much. ❤
