“Black ppl can’t be racist”
Honestly anyone can be racist imo...calling someone derogatory racial terms is racist and rude. Can someone explain to me peacefully? I’m not trying to cause a argument here I just would like to understand reasoning for that? Anyone can experience racism....literally anyone

You can google this, there's tons of written pieces on this that explain it well. Racism is deeply rooted and actually affects people's lives. We did a whole lesson on this when I was in high school. One of the examples was simply a person applying for a job (this situation was actually a true story) a man named Jose Zamora was trying to apply for jobs he was qualified for, for months on end and for some reason none of the jobs called him back. He dropped one letter in his name so instead of "Jose" he was now "Joe" and suddenly the responses started flooding in. It's safe to assume when someone's name is "Jose" they most likely come from a Latino background so he whitewashed his name and kept his resume the same and saw different results. This is because (and was proven through studies) that employers consciously and subconsciously discriminate against names that "sound" Latino or black. One study even showed that white sounding names received 50% more callbacks than those with black or Latino sounding names. Could you imagine not getting hired or even a callback simply because of the way your name sounds? A lot of white people and people with white sounding names will never know that feeling, they'll never experience that kind of racism and discrimination. This is just one small example on what racism really does to people that actually experience it. I highly recommend researching this on your own though, the responses from here will be biased if you think of the demographics on here..

it doesn’t matter what color, ethnicity, gender, etc. you are if you are judging someone based on their color or ethnicity or personal looks you are racist. im asian and personally, lots of people have been racist to me, even this guy who i really liked and who even liked me at once who called me squinty eyes and kept trying to label me by saying “oh what asian are you, oh you look nothing like that” and the sad thing is he didn’t even know how much it hurt me. (this is why we asians stay in asia because we aren’t judged there for how we speak or look) I CANT EVEN TALK TO MY GRANDMA IN HER ORIGINAL LANGUAGE(korean) WITHOUT PEOPLE MAKING LAUGHS AND JOKES. MOTHERFUCKING BITCH ASS LAME ASS SHITTY MFS...
