Unsure about nice guy

I am currently with this super nice guy. He does cute little things for me, can read my every mood, and he even smells nice. Like clean soap and pine. Heartbreakingly gentle with me if we hold hands because he knows a guy in my past was rough. Only thing is, I’m feeling a little unsure about our relationship.

We started dating in February (knew each other a year beforehand), and he is going to graduate from high school soon. Has no idea what to do for college or if he even wants to go. Isn’t decisive at all, and it makes me a little nervous about continuing a relationship with him. He says he might consider joining the Navy or Air-force, and that would mean he leaves me. I don’t like this constant wondering if we are going to still be together in a few weeks from now.

Is him being indecisive about college a bad sign, or should I just ride it out? Is this just a typical young adult situation? I really like him, but I want to see a future and I can’t if he could at any second pick a choice that doesn’t include me.
