Early ovulation?

So my app says I ovulate next week but I have clear stretchy cm raw egg white like. which from everything I’ve read says means your ovulating. I have irregular periods so I’m not sure. How do you track your ovulation? Does anybody track it through the cm? If you do... when do you actually start ovulation once your cm starts? And when do you get busy to plan to get pregnant?

My cm changed about 3 days ago and had sex yesterday.. hoping it’s not too late and I can get pregnant .. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
