Do I have to take ALL 7 inactive pills? 💊

I'm asking because they're placebo pills and if it matters if I only take them for 4 or 5 days before starting a new pack

I know for a fact that it's safe to change the date of your period by taking your inactive pills early or late, and taking active pills whenever you aren't taking the inactive ones...but this is probably a better question for your doctor.
Taking less of the inactive pills won't shorten your period though. You can still have your period while you're taking active pills (I only ever did when I took the pill, as I always got my period on the first day of my new pack). So my opinion is that if you're going to take the inactive pills at all, you need to take all of them.
If you want a pack with fewer inactive pills, you could also talk to your doctor about changing prescriptions to one with four inactive pills. But again, that won't shorten your period.

I don’t think it matters if you actually take the pills or not but if you start your new pack before the placebo days are over you’ll mess up your cycle, so if you’re going to skip the pills you need to just not take anything for those 7 days and start you next pack on time with what you would have had you taken the pills

Read you pills insert it came with as each pill is different. Sometimes the period week polls have hormones and some don’t. 
Mine is a sugar pill so I don’t take any of them during my period and I set a timer on my calendar to go off when I should start a new pack.
