iud & sex - should i warn my boyfriend?

had my iud fitted a couple days ago, really anxious about my boyfriend  feeling the strings during sex as i could feel/find them quite easy. I read a lot of people said it could be just placebo because they know its there, should i warn my boyfriend or just wait until he says something? Do they really soften over time too? 😚

I wouldn't say anything. Most guys can't feel it but say they can after you tell them it is in there. If he says something feels different after with no information from you then let him know.

Ive has mine for 2 years, my boyfriend has only felt it once or twice in the year and a half we have been together, and only when he’s like realllly going to town lol

my boyfriend can feel the strings. he says they are not bothersome,  before they were way to long my dr had to cut them shorter but he can still feel them they dont hurt.  in a way im glad he can feel them since he lets me know its still there. I have told him before if he doesnt feel the strings its condom time. we dont plan on having more but if I get pregnant while on the iud then it was meant to happen

My bf has never felt the strings, I cant even feel them. You could let him know, but I dont think it's necessary.
