So I went on a date with this guy and things went great! We got along, conversation was good, it was an all around wonderful evening! Unfortunately, life got in the way so we haven’t been on many dates but we text/call/Snapchat all the time. We talk, every day.

We went out again a week ago, the next thing I know he’s giving me the “it’s not you, it’s me” speech at the bar.

Ok, cool dude. Got it. Carry on and we continue to hang out. Next thing I know, he asks to kiss me and we are making out in the parking lot.

So I leave, he txt me immediately saying I’m not making this easy for him.

I call him out for confusing my vagina and

he proceeds to tell me every cliche storybook, pc line from he is scared of commitment to the fact he doesn’t want to lose me as a friend.

Now our easy going, fun banter is replaced with awkward moments and “how is your day” texts that don’t really lead to any decent conversation.

He did txt me about his new job, and all I could really say was congrats... Like you would to someone from high school that you follow on LinkedIn but don’t ever talk to. 🤦🏽‍♀️
