Co-Parenting and Dating
I have been a co-parenting since day one but I have also been single. I recently started talking to a guy I knew in high school and he knows I have a child. I discussed with my childs father that I have a lunch date and our child will be coming with me. My child's father will be at work during the time of the date and i think daycare for an hour or so is pointless. However, my child's father wants to meet the guy I am going on a date with. My childs father said it is because he doesnt trust anyone and wants to make sure this guy is a good guy. I believe in transparency and thats why my child will be coming with me plus the guy I am talking to wants to meet him. I feel like My childs father is just not wanting me to date. He has tried to put a lot of rules on who I can have in my house around our son but he doesnt pay bills nor do I ask for child support. Should I let my childs father meet this guy?
Update: I didnt go on the date.
