Contractions.... getting my bag ready sooner rather than later.
So, I went to my appointment yesterday (going to be 34 weeks on Saturday) and I was talking to my doctor about the issues I've been having the last few days. As I'm talking to her I let her know that I was having the sharp pains as we were talking. She started feeling around my belly and tells me that I'm having contractions!! I was surprised to say the least! I've had Braxton Hicks, but I chalked everything else to the fact that this is my fourth child and working so much. I never once thought it could be contractions! With my first two children I was induced and with my third child they gave me pitocin so I never really had something to compare it to. Luckily my doctor said that it's normal, but if I have them 5 minutes or less apart for an hour to go to L&D.; Needlessly to say it took me by surprise so I decided to get my hospital bag ready now so if I need it sooner rather than later it's ready.
