Finally starting to feel better...

I recently made a huge change in my life. I’ve always been a giving person, giving everyone and everything else my time and effort without doing the same for myself. Even my future plans weren’t even really mine, but just always focused on what others want. And while I feel like I was born to help and care for others, I have finally realized I need to give myself some love as well.

I quit the horribly draining job that was making me lose my hair and deteriorating my mental health, I ended the “future plans” I had with my significant other which were causing strains in our relationship rather than bettering it, and I have decided to take this month of to just focus on myself. Focusing on my mental health, on my physical health, on my studies, and my new beautiful baby niece.

This past Monday I started exercising. Doing some yoga in the morning and some more exercises in the afternoon. I also started trying to eat better.

So far, I feel like I’m on the right path. I’ve NEVER done anything like this, and while I had my reservations at first, I know this was the right thing to do. And writing about it makes me feel even better about it!

Hopefully things continue getting better 😌
