Bottle Sterilizer & Warmer?!

Necessary? No. Helpful? Extremely. We have the Kiinde bottle warmer and I love that thing. It has a reservoir of water, so you don’t need to fill it every time you heat a bottle, and it only takes a few minutes to heat, rather than holding a bottle under hot water from the faucet, or waiting forever for the water to boil on the stove. We bought 2 bottle warmers because I keep one in my son’s suitcase for when we travel.
Sterilizers are less necessary, but I still like mine because I’m not a fan of using the microwave for anything baby related. Some people boil their bottles/nipples, but I like the sterilizer because I can push a button and forget about it. We have the Baby Brezza, but I want a smaller one for my next baby because I only use it for nipples and pacifiers.

I'm a ftm too. I'm just Hanna boil the bottles in hot water no need to waste money on one of those that's what my step mom did with both of my brothers.

Just get the cheap munchkin sterilizer. Skip the bottle warmer.

I've never sterilized a single bottle or pacifier or anything like that. And we used our bottle warmer for all of 3 weeks lol so neither one are necessary to me.

I used my sterilizer like twice... I started boiling water and sterilizing my bottles that way. My warmer-- I loved! I got the tommie tippee one. I use to pump and freeze breast milk. It would safely warm up my breast milk bags for the baby. I still have it and plan to use it for my second baby. The sterilizer I ended up donating.

I got the dr brown gift set. It has the warmer, bottles, and sanitizer. While nice, I hardly used the warmer- I put the baby on the breast or used room temp bottled purified water for formula. The sanitizer takes 20 mins with cooling more or less and you can only do 6 bottles at a time. When your baby cluster feeds on the hour or eats every 3 hours (8 a day plus pump cleaning, it’s just not time efficient. I ended up buying extra bottles and running the dishwasher with sani rinse once a day or every other day. I was able to fit more. I got the munchkin baskets, and an attachment on the side of the too shelf for the tubes for the dr brown bottles.

We have a steriliser and a warmer. The steriliser we used everyday for 
9 months. The warmer we used for maybe 2 months, I don't feel I got my money's worth out of the product. I really could have skipped it.

I spent the money because I’m lazy 🤷‍♀️ I use Dr. Browns for both and they’re really good!
