Need Advice OBGYN vs Fertility Clinic

My husband and I have been ttc for over two years. My obgyn has not been very helpful during this journey. She told me she would not look into my fertility health (blood work, ultrasound, hsg, etc) until my husband got a semen analysis.

Well my obgyn referred us to a fertility clinic to get his SA done. His results came back with low morphology and my obgyn is referring us to the fertility clinic for a consultation. Is this normal to do all testing through a fertility clinic? I feel like she should have taken a more active role in my health than pushing me off to the fertility clinic. Especially because my insurance covers less at the fertility clinic.
