So I just pretty recently started a low dose of birth control to help regulate and help with my awful periods. The birth control they put me on Is Junel Fe.

This is the third month if been on it but my normal periods before BC have been happening around the 17-27 give or take a few days because of how crazy my periods were.

The first month of BC that I took I had a very light period when time and color of the pill came. Well then two weeks after I started spotting. I spotted for 10 days straight.

Again When the second month came to have my period according to the pill it was normal with some heavy to light flow over the week.

Now I'm on my third month of the pill and Insted of spotting it looks like a full on murder scene. I fell asleep and woke up hours later to find that I had blood soaked underwear and sheets.

I'm concerned because I have been bleeding/spotting week and a half or two weeks for any where between 5-10 days straight AFTER MY PERIOD!

Is this normal? Do I need to contact my doctor? Maby change BC dose or brand?
