Is this normal?

My husband and I just started TTC since December 2017. I saw my dr last month after having 2 60 day+ cycles within the previous 4 months, which is extremely unusual for me. He prescribed Provera to start my period then brought me in for day 21 labs. They just called to confirm that I didn’t ovulate,  which was my drs suspicion. However, they scheduled me for a follow up appt in June to do more labs potentially then.
My question is, is this normal? I guess I just thought for sure if he determined I wasn’t ovulating he would put me on medication to induce it. I know we have only been trying for a very short time, but I’m already frustrated and this news today has sent my frustration through the roof!

Literally have been going through the same exact stuff. I got blood done and they're complete, but no one has called me for updates of the results... 😒 usually if you're not over 30 they dont suggest more medication to help unless it's absolutely required. My women's health doctor is having my husband and I go to class to learn about the creighton method.

I had a D&C; for a blighted ovum in January 2017. I got what I thought was a normal period about six weeks after, but my periods never went back to normal. They actually had to put me on birth control, and when I stopped taking it, I started ovulating again. It took a full year to get a regular cycle through this process, though. If your doctor is working with you, I’m sure it will get better soon. Good luck!!!
