(this is gonna be long) For my ladies who are on the pill, I recently started the pill (again). When I was 12 i started my first period, it was very irregular as expected, but it was bad. like spotting ALL the time. I'd bleed through my pants and my mom would have to come to my rescue, then it would stop the same day, so I dealt with that for almost a year until my doctor put me on the pill at 13. I bled for the entire month I was on it. HEAVY, crime scene, sleep on a towel, super plus tampon, overnight pad, every HOUR. Before the month was up, I stopped taking the pill, my period stopped immediately, and I went a full 8 months without a period, but i wasnt complaining! last year (I was 17) i bled for 2 months straight, lightly, but it was still there and enough to be annoying. i bled for so long i became anemic (go me) my doctor gave me Provera (I believe) I took it for 10 days and my period stopped. 2 weeks later I had the worst period ever. cramping to the point of vomiting, crime scene all over again. but after a week it stopped and I didnt get a period for 5 months. but last month (I'm almost 19 now) I had the same thing happen, I bled for a month, but I wasnt about to wait for my anemia to get worse again, so I went to my doctor. now I'm on birth control. I started my period 2.5 weeks after being on it and it was f*cking terrible. Cramps that made me sick, and the HEAVIEST FLOW OF MY DAMN LIFE, and passing blood clots the size of half my fist. I'm supposed to be done tomorrow, and I'm at a medium flow now, but I just want to know if this has happened to anyone else? I know this is totally not normal, but I just want a normal period and to feel normal, and I just dont. reassurance would be fantastic right about now.
