Anyone Else Having/Had Irish Twins??

Super happy my kids will be so close, a little worried how I will be able to manage. Will a 1yo be independent enough to occupy their time while caring for a newborn?

Mine were close. They’re 12 months and 10 days apart. Our first was so independent - like he was in his big boy bed before the second baby even came. He did so good with it, it was almost easy. My second? Hell, I’m not sure I’ll get him out of his crib before our third comes and he will be dang near 3!

I have two that are 14 months apart . They get along great sometimes and sometimes they hate each other 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I won't be having Irish twins, but my son will be 15 months when this baby is due. He is 8 months now. I'm a little worried but very glad they will be close in age. I think the struggle may be worth it? My SO comes from a large family 7 brothers 1 sister and his mother had Irish twins and they are the closest. I think it's really cool! She said she doesn't remember it being to difficult with them close in age. I think it will depend alot on the temperament of the child. Plus the way my son looks at kids when we are out and about...He needs a brother or sister. lol

I have boys that are 11 months apart. The first 3 years were really hard. They are 10 and 11 now!  I don’t regret it at all!
