This little baby has been trying and trying since Wednesday night to hatch. That membrane looks pretty decent but it’s trying to get out by itself. I’ll see what happens, if not I’ll assist more and share it.

This is one of my shipped eggs. I had 6 shipped eggs and 2 have survived.

They had badly damaged air cells that seemed to get worse as they developed.

That little pink toe is a very good sign.

You can tell the difference between lavender quail and Pharaoh quail.

Lavender are the ones I ordered online. I feel so lucky right now.

Some of its membrane dried on its face so it can’t open that one eye all the way but that’s okay. It’ll try to wash it later when it’s stronger

We are much cuter today now that I wiped its face off. This one is so calm compared to the others and sits like a hen. I think it’s a girl.
