Is an IUD painful to get put in after a c-section?

I did not have any dilation while pregnant and had a csection. I’ve never had an IUD before how painful is it to get put in?

iud insertion for me was fairly painful, but i have a low pain tolerance and naturally cramp a lot during my period. when the obgyn touched my uterus with the measuring tool, that was the worst part for me because i started cramping a lot and couldn’t really see straight. however, i was not told to take advil before, and i wasn’t expecting to get BC during that appointment, much less have something inserted. anyway, i had never given birth

I got mine put in after the doctors got my son out. you will not feel a thing.

they recommend that before getting any IUD you have been pregnant at least once so it shouldn't hurt you
