Should I let the technician know?

I’m getting a ultrasound in a few days and I’ll be 12 weeks and 2 days. I know that’s way early to tell gender, so I’m not sure if I should tell the technician that I don’t want to know yet. I don’t even want a hint or a clue. I want it to be a complete surprise at my gender party. So should I say something or is it definitely too early?

I’d mention it just to be safe but at my 12 week scan the ultrasound tech didn’t mention it at all! He just checked for fingers and toes and everything 😊

I’m getting my scan done at 12 weeks exactly and planning on telling them if they can tell not to tell us anything! Better safe than sorry

They shouldn’t say anything regarding the gender and they also wouldn’t be able to tell your baby would be around 5cm big. And even if they could tell it could be wrong because of swelling parts !

You can’t see anything but the body and limbs, the baby is too small

Had an elective US yesterday at 12+3..  you could definitely see that it’s most likely going to be a boy! Will confirm with blood test soon. I would say something just to be sure.

I doubt they would be able to tell at this point, but I would definitely let them know just to be on the safe side!

i found out i was having a boy at 12 weeks with my son. i thought it was too early but if you dont want to know just tell the tech that. normally i wouldnt think they would say without asking first though.
