Cps question

Please no judgement I was wondering what it meant when the social worker said our case was in the process of being closed. Does this mean it's definitely getting closed? How long does the process take? Our child has been living with us since day one. It was over pot to help with severe HG no medicines helped what so ever and I was constantly in and out of the hospital every two weeks. In KY. Thank you in advance
