Massages while in your back?

Anyone gotten a massage while laying on your back for an hour? Was baby ok? Did you have any elevation to help?? 26w

Did you tell them you were pregnant? Were the people that did your massage certified prenatal massage therapist? If so, they should have already knew that. I get biweekly prenatal massages and they’ve always made lay in my sides. I had to stop doing reflexology because you’d lay on your back for so long and they focus on pressure points.

you should not be laying flat on your back for how far along you are. if it is a prenatal massage they typically have you lay on your side

You HAVE to tell them you’re pregnant. There’s weird shit they can’t do when ur pregnant.. I remember people telling me they would book clients n freak out if they didn’t know they were pregnant even if it was really early. Something about pressure points idk but let them know

It’s recommended you only lay on your back for a minute, otherwise you risk cutting off circulation to the placenta and baby.
