Newbie! Hi all =) *trigger, loss mentioned*
Hi everyone!
New here. I'm 32 and my SO is 34 and we'll be starting TTC #1 this cycle. I was diagnosed with PCOS last year and have been on BC since to help with my irregular cycles. I've had regular, 28 day cycles since my 2nd month on the pill and it was lovely!!
I found and have been working with an amazing doctor to do testing before pulling my BC to start TTC. I have a history of losses, one MC and one ectopic. I had to have a hsg done with saline to check my tubes. He's confident my right tube healed closed after my ectopic and my left was blocked but he was able to push bubbles through and open it! So I thankfully have one good tube to work with.
Today is CD5, AF is gone and I'm excited and nervous to start the journey. We have a plan that if after 8 weeks I have yet to get my cycle on my own then I'll be going back & he'll be putting me on letrozole.
I know the PCOS can make this journey rough, but I'm staying optimistic and letting my body "wake up" as the Dr put it (because I've likely been blocked for years)
Baby dust to all! and thanks for reading! 💖🤞⭐🌠
