20 week scan?

Anyone else incredibly nervous for their 20 week scan? I don’t know why but I’m so afraid something will be wrong and this is the first time they really check everything. I know it’s not good for the baby to stress but I just can’t help it. I haven’t seen them since 11 weeks.

I was relaxed going into it and they found a few issues that we need to follow up with and could potentially mean surgery after birth for our baby (two extra holes in his/her heart), but I’m glad to know what’s going on and we have a follow up scan. (The doctor did say that they do see some issues that can resolve themselves before birth (like the small holes in the heart) than they used to because more people get scans now. Don’t stress until your doctor tells you something is wrong, and even then - try to be as calm as possible (for baby’s sake) and ask what the process is moving forward.

I was very nervous but open minded. I was prepared to deal with any abnormal news. Everything turned out to be 100% healthy though and I felt so relieved!

I was too very anxious, but you know what everything turned out alright. He's a healthy baby boy, with strong bones and strong heartbeat. Everything will be ok honey.

Im not nervous, just anxious to find out what were having. This is our 7th baby and thinking back i was never really nervous about it just also exciting. I don’t think i ever looked at it as anatomy scan, more of a gender scan lol mine is this Tuesday and it feels like the days are sooo long and its taking forever🤦🏼‍♀️

🙋🏼 I actually threw up right after they started bc I was so nervous. Everything is fine but I also was scared. You’re a mom as soon as you find out your pregnant and just want your baby to be ok!
