Tubo ovarian complex

hey morning ladies. so I've been ttc for 9 months now n bad 2 ultrasounds done...the last being last month which was pretty normal. I've been put on clomid m jus finished by 2nd cycle. I usually ovulate and my period is like clockwork...every 28 days! I didnt experience any ovulation symptoms this cycle n decided to go have another ultrasound done. Was told that my tubes are damaged n that I have tubo ovarian complex! sigh n tht I may need a lap and dye. does it make sense that my ultrasound last month was normal n then this? Can anyone give advice plzzz
