When to start bc to postpone period.

I’m getting married next month and I looked at my period tracker at the beginning of the year and it looked like I was going to avoid my period and wedding/honeymoon meeting.

However the last couple months I’ve been starting my period 2-4 days early which has me starting my period the day after my wedding. I get the feeling though it’s going to start the day of- just my luck.

I went to the doctor yesterday and he prescribed me the generic of seasonique (Daysee.) I’ve been reading online and it looks like a lot of people have breakthrough bleeding during the third week. I’ve also read that if you start the pill 2 weeks after your period you’re more likely to postpone you period.

Tomorrow is the Sunday after my period. Not too worried about pregnancy my fiancé and I are currently a thousand miles away for next 2 weeks and have been using other methods.
