Provera to jumpstart period?

My dr prescribed me provera yesterday to jumpstart my period as I’m now 6 days late. I had light brown spotting leading up to the day of my period and then it stopped when it was due. I’m afraid I could be pregnant, and that what they gave me may hurt the baby if I am. I’ve had vvfl hpt’s, but negative blood work. I’m also prescribed clomid 50mg every cycle. I took the first provera pill yesterday at 4pm and by 10:30 last night noticed a rash forming on my face, neck, and ears. It doesn’t itch as bad as hives, but it’s obviously there. The only thing that has changed is me starting provera. Has anyone every broken out from provera before?
