The thing is, I’ve known his girl since I was 5. We didn’t hurt each other or anything, something just changed in both of us.

I’ve got something similar but the other person did actually do something that really hurt me. I thought I could forgive her but I’m the end I couldn’t... 
People change and that’s just life. If here’s nothing seriously wrong just talk to her and say that you feel as though you’ve both changed so obviously your friendship is going to change too. 
It hurts like a bitch to cut someone you love out of your life so I wouldn’t do it unless the friendship is toxic and actually making you unhappy.
