Period on Nexplanon?

I recently got the nexplanon implant 4/24 while on my period and now ive been spotting for like 5 days longer than usual. Anyone else experience this?

Completely normal. Progestin only methods are most known for causing irregular bleeding/spotting. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. And, such bleeding/spotting is especially common during the first 3-6 months while ur body is adjusting to the birth control.
