did i overreact on cutting off the guy I’ve been talking to?

so everything was going fine, but this girl had come up to me and she told me the guy i was talking to had asked her for nudes. Obviously i was gonna tell him, he denied it and sent me a whole video of evidence that it never happened. So then i gave him my trust after that. The next day, around 8pm, while he was texting me, he was texting some other girl saying she was ‘hot as fuck’ and asking her for booty pics and he even sent her dick pics. i found out because the girl told me the next day. i immediately cut everything off without telling him because i was so hurt. Did i overreact?
