Alternative to birth centre?

I’m pregnant with baby #1, in my early 20s, and trying to get into my local birth centre (places are very limited). I believe birth is natural and powerful and, unless there are serious complications, does not need doctors or medical intervention. I believe in midwives! I’d like to have a plan B and was wondering if any mamas would like to share their natural, non-medical births and how and where you had your babies? Or if you’re expecting and you have a good plan? 😁
