My 4 month old is EBF and I am having an unexpected surgery on Tuesday and I have ZERO milk supply built up because I have been home with her and no reason to build supply. I’m now panicking and trying to find a formula to supplement her for that one day while I’m having he surgery since I will be under general anesthesia for 4 hours and she won’t have milk. I have tried a couple different and she tastes them and gags and cries and absolutely refuses the milk. Do any moms have recommendations of formulas that their BF baby took to easily? I am desperate at this point. It’s only going to be for this one day.

I don’t pump enough to build enough of a supply over the next 2 days so that’s not an option. My breasts don’t take to the pump well.
