Nuvaring question

So this is my first time taking birth control and I had a couple of questions. My doctor told me to put the ring in on the fourth day of my period and I did. That was on April 24th and it is now April 29th and I know I have to wait 7 days before having unprotected sex. But I was kind of worried because it feels like the ring has been coming lower and lower once it’s been inserted. Everytime I put my finger in to check on it, it seems pretty low so I’ve been taking it out and reinserting it in every now and then. Is that going to affect my protection of pregnancy? Also I did take Monistat ovule 1 on Friday and I just wanted to know if that also affects the ring. I took it out yesterday and rinsed off some of the ovule with warm water that was on the ring and reinserted it. Any tips on how to make sure the ring is in as far as possible and for it to stay in there. I feel like I have my whole finger in up to my knuckle and I keep pushing it as far as I can but it still somehow lowers.
