Tdap reaction at 31w2d

I had a TDap vaccine on Friday at 2:30

P.m. by 2 a.m Saturday morning I woke up for a pee run, and immediately felt the chills and body ache to the point that I almost didn’t make it to bed. It’s been 36 hrs and I still have body ache, fevers. headache, fatigue and just feeling crappy.

I called the hospital at 4 a.m. Saturday and they said to take Tylenol every 6 hours. I also went to check baby to make sure she is fine, and thank God she is!

Nurses and Dr, thought I have a bug and not related to vaccine since it’s really rare to have side effects from TDap and vaccine is safe to give on 3rd trimester.

I’m hoping I feel better soon! I can’t take it any longer.

Anyone else get sick after a Tdap vaccine?
