So I was dating this guy for a couple months. He’s a year younger than me, so he’s only a senior in high school. Prom is coming up and he asked me to be his date. Due to finals and school, I couldn’t go. His best friend, who I will refer to as Cody, set him up with a prom date, Chloe. Chloe is the best friend of Cody’s girlfriend. The day that my ex got set up with Chloe, we got in an argument. Since he just got out of a long-term relationship, he told me he wasn’t ready for a relationship, just wanted to be friends for now, and take a break.

I decided to give friends a chance because we only dated for a few months and I’m very good friends with another one of my exes. Last night, we were talking about prom and he brought up the fact that Cody and his girlfriend Taylor are trying to get Tommy (my ex) to date Chloe. Cody and Taylor are trying to get Tommy to talk to Chloe a lot and hang out with her. Tommy admitted to me that he was starting to get feelings for Chloe and wants to see where things will go, even though he just told me he didn’t want a relationship. Chloe is also moving from their town to New York in a few weeks, so Tommy was telling me how Chloe’s mom wanted him to come visit. I’m in college in New York and I’ve been trying to get him to visit for months. The thing is, he’s only 5 hours away from me but 8 from Chloe.

THE MOST MESSED UP THING IS THAT HE BARELY KNOWS THIS GIRL!! AND LAST NIGHT HE WAS TELLING ME HE LOVED ME AND MISSED ME!!!!
