I can’t keep living in the piss house

My fiancé and I have been staying with his brother’s family since February. We’re about to move across the country and moved in with them for a little while to save some money once our lease was up.

We get our new place on June 1st.

We’re paying half of his brother’s rent and we get their spare bedroom and a bathroom. For $500 a month.

I am so uncomfortable there. They have 6 dogs and 2 cats and the animals piss everywhere! Mostly the kitchen in front of the fridge.

They’re also allowed on the couch and the couch smells like dog.

I’m pregnant and really sensitive to smells right now. I cannot be in the kitchen.

I grew up without animals and I’m really uncomfortable around so many dogs.

I can’t take it anymore. I don’t know what to do. How am I supposed to stay here for another month?

I can’t even get myself food out of the fridge without throwing up.

They get so offended but I can’t help it. And everybody tells me I’m crazy for reacting like this to the smell. I don’t understand how they can live like this with two little kids that play on the floor all the time.
