Baby sleeping question
Our 7 week old refuses to nap/sleep unless he’s held, as soon as I set him down (whether drowsy, awake, waiting past REM sleep, dark room, light room, noise, no noise, etc) his cute little eyes pop open. I’ve pretty much accepted that this is how it’s going to be for now and I’m enjoying the snuggles.
However, he slept through most of the night and has been sleeping most of today BY HIMSELF in the bassinet. I assume this is a growth spurt so I’m not worried about it, but I do have a question.
Am I fooling myself by thinking there’s a chance he might be okay sleeping without being held after this growth spurt has passed?
