How do I know if I’m pregnant

Gave birth to my first baby last Feb 8 and I’ve been having unprotected sex with the hubby. Are the chances of getting pregnant any lower/higher? Will a pregnancy test show me if I’m pregnant or are my hormones still a little crazy from my last pregnancy?

I’m 29 btw.
