Clearblue ovulation test

Do the lines work with the same theory as ordinary opks?

I had a miscarriage, didn’t ovulate before getting my period but got a big fat ovarian cyst instead.

So trying to work out what’s happening this cycle was getting high fertility on the CB advanced but ran out of those and could only get the CB ovulation kit not the advanced.

Testing twice a day and this mornings is lighter than this evenings but do they work in the same way as a normal opk?
