HOSPITAL BAG !?!

Question

At what point (how many weeks) did you pack your hospital bag and what would you say was the most helpful thing to pack and something you could've gone without. 
I am due June 22 and it will be Winter here in Aus so packing the winter stuff for bub, myself and a couple things for hubby (we only live 15min from our hospital so easy for him to duck home). 
What do you wish you packed and or left at home!?

I was 36 weeks when I packed mine. My husband secretly packed a small bag that he kept in his car when I was about 34 weeks. I took 2 outfits for the baby which luckily my sister brought me a new outfit because she was so tiny, she fit in premie clothes. I packed newborn and 0-3 months clothes for her. I packed a tank top and a comfy pair of black pajama pants (in case of leaks), and toiletries. I knew my husband would go home so I didn’t pack anything for him. I didn’t bring much. Must haves were outfit for the baby, outfit for yourself, stuff for the shower, toothbrush, and phone charger. Everything else I might have needed was either provided or I could ask my husband to grab it.

For my first kid I packed it by 34wks. This time. I’m 36wks and haven’t even thought about it. Hah. Honestly, the only real things you need are a pair of pants or two. A robe or sweatshirt. Nursing bras/tops and toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and a brush. The hospital will provide everything else you’ll need. I packed so much crap the first time that was a waste of space. You could bring some small bottles of shampoo and body wash if you think you may want to shower (if your room/hospital has them available to you). I planned to and never did. Haha. But I’ve had lots of friends shower at the hospital.

I’m due a week after and I’m in aus too :) I’m packing when I go on mat leave (after my baby shower) so I’ll be about 35 and half weeks. Part of me wants to do it now but I’m waiting until after baby shower to wash everything. But both hubby, mum and best friend know where everything is if any of them need to grab stuff for me.
