Bummed...and confused

So last night I went to a little get together and my longtime crush was there. I ended up talking to him more than I have ever been able to before and he seemed genuinely interested in learning about me. He used to always call me by my last name but that night he started using my first name and asked me about my middle name, which I found interesting. We talked a while and he even said things like “wow I never would have thought that” and he just seemed like he was enjoying getting to know me. We were constantly talking/flirting/playing games together all night. Great night!!!! I felt like he showed some interest and my friends were all like “you guys were adorable!”

Then today at a completely different place he showed up and I overheard him talking to his friend about how a really attractive girl had agreed to get dinner with him and he was really excited... I got a little bummed, that’s life! BUT then he came over and sat across from me and started from where we had left off last night just talking and being kind of flirty. I ended up leaving shortly after because I just felt weird. As I was leaving again he said bye using my first name instead of my last name and winked...

Just needed to vent this out... I’m just lost.
