Ovarian Cyst Rupture?

hey guys! so recently i was supposed to start my period in the 19th of this month. only a drop of blood came out and it never happened. i thought maybe my stress is keeping my period from coming. on friday I lost my job and became overwhelmed and had a breakdown. shortly after I experience extreme and intense pain in my lower abdomen and pelvic. saturday I had an app with Planned Parenthood and they said my IUD looks fine and that I might have had an ovarian cyst rupture. that same night I came home and began to bleed heavily shortly after I got into an argument with a family member. the blood is brownish red and there are clots. did I really have a rupture? or was it my period forcing itself out?
