My boyfriend says he’s serious about me and that I’m not a temporary thing for him. He always talks about living together. But he won’t talk about anything more than that. I try and ask him what he wants our future to be like and I tell him I want a future and family with him when the time is right and he just shuts down. Anytime I bring up the future he either just doesn’t say anything back and changes the subject or he says there’s no point in talking about that right now. I’ve tried telling him that I just like talking about it. It makes me happy and it’s nice to imagine things like that together. I’ve had many boyfriends but I’ve only loved one person before him. My first love and I would talk about the future all the time and it was great. I’ve never wanted to talk about it with anyone else until my boyfriend now. I’m scared he doesn’t want all that with me. What do y’all think?
