I announced to immediate family right now only and I don’t plan on putting it on social media at all. My close friends and other families would know after my first trimester.

Ok serious question. Why are you not going to announce on social media? For me this is so puzzling, it’s weird just getting on one day and then trying to figure out if the baby picture that someone just posted is an old pic of their first child or a new niece or nephew or did they have another baby.

My little family that live with me know, as do my older kids who have flown the nest. I haven't even told my mum yet or my best friend. I'm 6w1d and this is not my first rodeo, but idk something about announcing on social media.. I guess I'm a little nervous of something going wrong and then having to post that something has gone wrong.
I'd rather wait until our little squiggle is more established and I feel a little more confident

Both of our parents know. Only 5w5d, but going on vacation with my family in 2 weeks, where I will have to pass on the hot tub, zip lines and breweries... so I’m going to tell them next week, we have an early scan. I’m sure we’ll do some sort of announcement on social media, even though I’m not super excited about doing it.

I told all the people that matter. I don’t care about posting on social media but my husband wants to. He doesn’t really talk to his friends anymore. I don’t know why he can’t just call them. So I’ll announce to the world after my 12 week appointment on May 21st. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Together since then and they can definitely tell. Social media I will probably not til June/July.

My husband and I are 7 weeks, we told our entire families. Mostly because there going to be going on vacation in a few weeks and they would notice if I didn’t drink. Probably wait until 12 weeks to announce on Facebook. I read an article that said it’s good to tell your close circle, just Incase something does happen.
