so I like this boy. I don't get butterflies around him, I just become super at ease. he is in our friend group and our best friends are dating right now. I really want to experience high school and a lot of my friends say that a boy friend is the way to do that. I really don't know. I am 14 (almost 15) and we plan on hanging out over the summer. will it be awkward? or will making a move ease things out?

I had a boyfriend pretty much my entire high school life and I REGRET it. I actually missed out on so many events, missed out on meeting new people. Boys are not the answer to anything. Literally be single, have fun, meet new people. Enjoy his company and friendship. But just because you’re comfortable around him it doesn’t mean you need to be with him.

I'd possibly spend a little more time hanging out as friends before you initiate anything. Something might progress naturally when you hang out over summer. Also the high school experience is whatever you want it to be, it's not necessary to have a boyfriend so only do it because you and the guy want to, not because of what your friends say :) just have fun

Boys have nun to do with experiencing high school I mean there around but that don’t mean nun I remember all my friends going to the park n the beach during the summer hanging out late nights don’t Just think u need a boyfriend cus ur friend said so
