The CDC reports that about 2/3rds of the population has HSV-1, and 1/6th of the population has HSV-2. But yet most doctors do not test for it when prompted for std testing. A large percentage of people carrying the virus have absolutely no symptoms, and can still be passing it to other people. please next time you're at the doctors ask to be tested for herpes, ask for a blood test.And if you do have herpes, please keep in mind it is only a skin condition, you are not this virus. you are a beautiful capable person, who just happens to have a skin condition, like so many other people. The CDC also reports that the amount of Americans with genital herpes is more than the entire population of Australia!
